About The Role:

This hybrid remote/in-person internship would suit an ambitious student looking for an opportunity to grow into a leadership role and develop their corporate event management skills. Demonstrating superior poise and grace under pressure, the ideal candidate has excellent time management skills, is detail oriented, is comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment and maintains flexibility in their day to day workflow.

What You Will Do:

* Assist in the planning and delivery of Gartner global conferences, aligned to a team within Conferences Operations

* Gain real-world experience in a fast paced event planning environment

* Receive coaching and mentorship from leadership

* Spend 2-3 days per week in office building relationships and growing your professional network

* Collaborate with fellow interns on group project presentations to Conferences leadership

* Travel to National Harbor, MD to experience a conference firsthand supporting Gartner's Security & RiskManagement Summit (travel dates June 7-11)

What You Will Need:

* Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with expected graduation date within a year of successfully completing the internship program

* Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills

* Leadership or work experience to supplement strong student achievement

* Experience in event management

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this role is 17 USD - 25 USD. Please note that actual rates may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. We also offer benefit programs including paid sick time off, and a 401k match for employees working 20 hours a week or more.
