Job Summary
Provide professional administrative support on a wide variety of project assignments. Provides overall coordination of projects to assure completion within budgetary, space and time limits in order to enhance the overall operation of the organization. Uses professional project coordination concepts and job skills to resolve problems of moderate scope and complexity; coordinates and completes varied projects, exercising judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. A minimum of five years of related administrative experience, experience related to the project area or any equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an intermediate level professional project management position requiring a minimum of two years of professional project management experience applying acquired job skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software, with ability and desire to learn new programs; detail-oriented and accurate, with the ability to prioritize information in a timely manner; strong communicator in verbal, written and listening situations.

Handle administrative duties for the associate vice president and the teams reporting directly to the AVP. Will make decisions and interpret administrative policies; maintain and monitor financial records; maintain calendars and schedule meetings; manage projects to include events; work with private donations received; order office supplies; perform monthly financial account reconciliations; coordinate travel; compose correspondence, reports, etc and assure accuracy of data and security of assets; comply with laws and policies; function as liaison between departments; other duties as required.

Remote Work Notice:
Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the DFW Area) and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
