Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. The Director of Plant Operation is responsible for:

• All work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, Engineering, Grounds, EVS, Security, and Safety.
• Manages construction/remodeling projects upon direction from organizational leadership.
• Acts as liaison between Medical Center and other contracted personnel/vendors performing Facilities related work.
• Presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public.

Education and Work Experience

1. Basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous material and safety management experience required.
2. Management experience necessary.
3. A minimum of 3 years hospital experience in Plant Operations preferred.
4. Knowledge of hospital associated codes.
5. Experience in management/supervision of all Facilities related departments (EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, etc.).
6. Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
7. Valid state driver's license.
8. High school diploma or equivalent required.
9. College degree in Engineering field preferred.
