Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Provide technical & business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications Act as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed Constantly look for ways to improve the interaction with the business and the quality and speed of the requirements gathering and requirements build Perform quality reviews of payment applications monthly Requirements: 7 - 10 years of experience 2 - 4 years of risk, controls or quality assurance experience Demonstrated subject matter knowledge in technology and/or information security processes is preferred (access, segregation of duties, resiliency planning, code scanning, etc.) Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations Proven time management and organizational skills Demonstrates accountability and ownership Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others, enjoys working in a team environment MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics Intellectually curious in reviewing information and be able to communicate findings with confidence Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable or brings other domain knowledge that improves the overall function of the business to team interface Desired skills: Bachelor's Degree Technical knowledge of systems and related infrastructure/architecture Prior business process management or control framework knowledge Ability to understand systematic evidence as it relates to IT processes QA / Testing experience Experience with Enterprise Change Framework processes and deliverables Pay Range: $38.44 - $46.44 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
