Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Manage and implement end-to-end Linux based infrastructure that hosts many critical core components such as Database, GRID Computing, Enterprise Job Schedulers Messaging Platforms Work on migration projects related to servers, Active Directory OU , Datacentre, Non Permitted technology ,Upgrade of Applications , LEAPP, etc. Support and troubleshoot issues with servers infrastructure migrating to Azure Cloud Support project related migration from Bare Metal to High performance VM's Support Server infrastructure related to Generative AI applications Support and monitor application infrastructure and various internal core components and dependent technologies Ensure application issues on supported infrastructures are addressed, proactively fixed even before user impact Work on tool development, automation, release management, troubleshooting issues, Capacity DR planning Provide analysis of Infrastructure capacity review to ensure a sufficient level of infrastructure capacity, availability, and resiliency Requirements: Background with large Enterprise Strong experience in Linux administration, programming experience in at least one language (Python, Shell scripting, etc.) Experience in monitoring, and observability tools such as ELK, FluentD, Prometheus, Splunk, ITRS, etc. Excellent Operational skills, troubleshooting Production and Network issues and identifying Root Cause Prevention Exposure to Core troubleshooting Tools and Automation Experience in Infrastructure automation using either of Ansible or Python, Able to connect the dots and conclude complex Infrastructure issues quickly with minimal supervision Able to link business context to technical requirements Able to work in a fast paced environment whilst meeting deadlines Expert knowledge of Python programming Language Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Process adherence and efficiency in handling Incident and problem management Self-motivated and results oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities Exposure and working experience with large scale environments Desired skills: Experience with supporting Cloud technologies (Azure ,etc.) Experience with supporting Generative AI infrastructure platform Pay Range: $53.52 - $61.52 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
