Sales Development Manager - Condensing Units

Are you a tenacious sales hunter who enjoys prospecting, selling, and account management? Do you excel at relationship-building and devising creative solutions? The Danfoss North America Indirect Sales team has an opening for a Sales Development Manager Condensing Units based in the Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA area.

As Sales Development Manager you are responsible for the development of Condensing Unit sales as well as managing direct accounts. You will provide support to the Indirect sales channel on an as-needed basis.

The specific responsibilities include:

* Developing the Condensing Unit sales in a targeted territory;

o Identify a list of customers designing, specifying, and building refrigeration cold rooms / walk-in freezers

o Understand customer needs, identify a solution specification, and pricing, and provide customer support

o Selection of appropriate sales channels for new business

* Actively searching and proposing new partners according to the strategy,

* Supporting trade fairs & conferences to promote Danfoss Condensing Unit/Cooling solutions

* Collecting product requirements and market trends, and reporting on findings to Product Line Directors and Vice Presidents

* Maintaining sales-related data in CRM (Salesforce) and providing updates on sales metrics.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to have a business/technical degree, with knowledge of the North America Commercial Refrigeration market in Food Services & Cold Rooms.

Further requirements are:

* Expertise & passion in both developing new businesses and managing existing business

* Experience in cold rooms or walk-in cooler/freezer market will be an asset

* Customer-oriented mindset

* Great communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

* Fluency in English

* Willingness to travel (max. 70%); mostly within your region & occasional global trips
