Supports Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provides completed case management of Workers Compensation cases for Carilion employees. Serves as a Case Manager, resource and liaison for workers compensation cases, overseeing case management, outgoing communication regarding workers comp, adjusted claim issues and the workers comp return to work process. The position will also oversee workers comp employee injury cases utilizing the employee, their physicians, Employee Health, Human Resources, Legal, and insurance carriers as resources. Evaluates work-related injury trends, identifies potential health hazards present in the work environment and OSHA violations and offers suggestions, education and resources necessary for best outcomes. What We Require:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: Worker's compensation and or case management background preferred. Those with an LPN are encouraged to apply Other Minimum Qualifications: Project and case management skills including excellent oral and written communications, project management and the ability to learn and use technology such as EPIC, Lawson, Kronos, and Microsoft Office products. Worker's compensation and OSHA experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills a MUST. About Carilion
