You Are:

You will be responsible for implementing and managing the Cloud & Hybrid model, drawing on your extensive experience in cloud architecture, operations, and governance, particularly in relation to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads. As a strategic thinker, you'll leverage your in-depth understanding of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments to develop and implement effective strategies for workload distribution and seamless integration with on-prem infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud security, compliance, automation, and SRE best practices will ensure secure, efficient, and compliant cloud operations. Using your leadership skills, you'll drive change, manage teams, and align cloud strategy with business goals. Your solid understanding of FinOps and cost optimization will help you create and implement financial governance models promoting cost efficiency and accountability. With hands-on experience in infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud automation, and observability tools, you'll lead the adoption of emerging cloud technologies and optimize data movement, storage, and compute strategies for EDA applications.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Defining and implementing cloud architectures for EDA workloads across public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Developing a hybrid cloud strategy for EDA workloads, ensuring optimal distribution of workloads.
  • Establishing cloud governance frameworks for EDA applications, ensuring their security, compliance, and operational control.
  • Providing strategic direction for the CloudOps/SRE team, focusing on EDA applications in cloud environments.
  • Developing and implementing cloud financial governance models for EDA workloads, ensuring cost optimization and accountability.
  • Overseeing the inclusion and implementation of the GenAI platform within our broader cloud strategies to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Evaluating and adopting emerging cloud technologies for EDA workloads and optimizing data movement, storage, and compute strategies for EDA applications across environments.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of relevant Leadership Experience in cloud architecture, operations, and governance.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS or GCP, including hybrid cloud methodologies.
  • Experience with EDA workloads in cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, automation, and SRE best practices.
  • Proven experience in FinOps, cost optimization, and cloud financial governance.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud automation, and observability tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change, manage teams, and align cloud strategy with business goals.

IT Cloud team is responsible for providing best-in-class EDA Infrastructure & Design environment in the public cloud, optimized to meet the scale and complexity of the EDA workload. The team focuses on ensuring seamless and efficient storage operations for modern EDA workloads, including AI/ML, HPC, and large-scale SaaS environments.
