About the role

As our Regional Health & Safety Compliance Manager, you will champion and craft initiatives that ensure seamless alignment with our high global standards. Your responsibilities

  • A core part of this role is to connect with sites within region and continually assess for "comfort level", for update and escalation to senior leadership.
  • Is able to carry out topic based 'deep dives' within global facilities when required; process safety, fire & emergency preparedness, Asset management
  • To stay abreast of remediation plans for sites, with active support and oversight for higher risk sites. Strong communication skills to articulate updates to the business when required.
  • Contribute to Reckitt's overall EHS risk reduction strategy for employee H&S and collaborates with regional teams to set year on year EHS goal and targets in order to reduce workplace incidents
  • Be the point of contact for regional leadership for the regions and create strong stakeholder engagement with these roles.
  • Connect and create a network across the North America region to share knowledge and best practice. Strong facilitation skills to engage the pool of site EHS leads across the region.
  • Promotes reporting and reviews all recordable accidents within region to ensure root cause analysis and corrective action plan. Provides senior teams with reports as required and for relevant regional meetings.
  • Coaching site-based teams on accident investigations and process safety incidents using FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), to ensure root cause analysis is determined and suitable corrective action plans are in place.
  • Collaborate with global H&S team to ensure updates to global H&S standards, using strong technical knowledge to prepare appropriate content for Reckitt.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Considerable experience working in Manufacturing or similar to a senior management position, engaging with senior leaders across different functions
  • Proven experience of working in a corporate / global EHS function and working cross culturally, collaborating with other global peers
  • Deployment of global H&S programs
  • Good understanding of overall H&S legislation applicable to a manufacturing site in one or more countries.
  • Ability to critically assess existing EHS systems, with proven experience of implementing solutions to further improve
  • Experience in auditing, including against ISO 45001 management standards
  • Good overall knowledge of safety & Risk (e.g. process safety, LOTO, electrical safety, manual handling, contractor safety, vehicle safety, chemical & hazardous material handling, occupational health, training/coaching etc), comfortable in position as a regional subject matter expert

Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 -$226,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
