Summary:
The Brand Manager, Digital will be responsible for driving the digital strategy and execution across Pacira's digital channels to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation for EXPAREL and ZILRETTA. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, commercial, medical, and agency partners, to develop and execute integrated digital marketing programs. The Brand Manager will optimize digital content, drive omnichannel marketing efforts, and analyze performance data to continually enhance customer experiences and meet business goals.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Digital Content Strategy & Execution:
o Develop, manage, and optimize digital content across key platforms (EXPAREL and ZILRETTA websites, search, email, social media, etc.) in alignment with Pacira's strategic priorities.
o Lead the implementation of patient-focused content on EXPAREL.com and HCP and Patient ZILRETTA websites, coordinating with marketing, commercial leadership, and medical teams to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance.
o Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance user experience and ensure brand messaging and positioning are consistent across all digital touchpoints.

2. Digital Marketing Optimization:
o Drive analytics reporting to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and identify opportunities for optimization.
o Lead initiatives to enhance SEO, SEM, and paid search campaigns in collaboration with agency partners to support the growth of EXPAREL and ZILRETTA.
o Identify and communicate digital best practices to ensure optimal user experience, increased traffic, and engagement across digital platforms.

3. Omnichannel Marketing Strategy:
o Support the development of an omnichannel marketing strategy to engage both patients and healthcare providers (HCPs) across digital and traditional touchpoints.
o Drive customer acquisition strategies for both patient and HCP audiences as part of ongoing marketing efforts and annual strategic planning.

4. Project Management & Coordination:
o Collaborate with Marketing Franchise Leads to execute site asset launches and partner with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to amplify brand messaging across digital channels.
o Interface with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to streamline the review process and ensure the timely approval of digital assets.
o Utilize project management tools to track active work streams, monitor status, and ensure timely execution of deliverables across multiple stakeholders.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
o Create and maintain performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to track key digital KPIs (e.g., traffic, conversion, engagement) and report on campaign results.
o Develop and refine executive presentations and reports to communicate digital marketing performance and optimization opportunities to senior leadership.

6. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
o Regularly communicate with internal teams (sales, medical affairs, regulatory) and external agency partners to ensure alignment and drive the seamless execution of digital marketing initiatives.
o Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns and the continuous optimization of marketing spend.

7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
o Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices to keep Pacira at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
o Drive the exploration and implementation of new digital tools and platforms to improve engagement and efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

Interaction:
The incumbent will work closely with field sales, cross-functional team members and agency partners.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, project coordination, or brand management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry required.
* 2+ years of experience working on digital strategy, content creation, or managing digital marketing channels (e.g., websites, SEO, paid search, email marketing, social media) required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Proven ability to develop and execute digital content strategies across multiple platforms.
* Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and paid search campaigns (Google AdWords experience is a plus).
* Demonstrated experience in omnichannel marketing, driving customer acquisition, and optimizing digital touchpoints for patient and HCP audiences.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex workflows and meet deadlines across cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to track and analyze data to refine strategies and optimize digital initiatives.
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in managing marketing initiatives in a regulated environment.
* Ability to travel up to 30% as needed to engage with field teams, partners, and at industry events.

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this role in San Francisco, California is $113,000 per year to $155,000 per year. The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
