Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions. We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. As a Marine Sales Account Manager, you will develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships. You will do this by identifying customer needs, informing them about our products or services and providing solutions to their challenges. It's critical that we provide super-fast response times to customer orders and quotation requests that may come in via telephone, fax, or email. Coordinating with our outside sales team and other departments to ensure that customers receive the best service possible is a must.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Continually communicate with customers on inquiry development and order status.

  • Provide pricing and delivery information.

  • Procures and maintains inventory, while monitoring to ensure proper inventory turns.

  • Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials.

  • Maintains strong working relationships with vendors.

  • Resolves customer service issues and tracks open sales orders.

  • Develop quotations based on customers' RFQ's.

  • Process orders received from customers.

  • Source material when required.

A must...

  • Marine Industry experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of inventory sales.

  • Positive communication skills, both over the phone and via e-mails.

  • Dependable and punctual.

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)

Environmental Job Requirements...

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
