Description and Requirements

What You'll Do:

Lenovo's Infrastructure Solution Group is seeking a skilled professional to support the development of AI business opportunities in North America. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical and software background with a strong sales acumen. This person will assist in guiding our sales strategy, support go-to-market activities for AI sales in our enterprise accounts, and contribute to growing enterprise AI revenue. This person will work closely with Lenovo's enterprise account teams to drive generative AI opportunities for infrastructure, software, and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and driving AI opportunities for software, services, consulting, and hardware with the ISO sales organization.
  • Identify and cultivate new AI business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and market share.
  • Gather business and technical requirements, orchestrate internal/external team members, coordinate the development of a solutions design that aligns with customer objectives.
  • Advocate for Lenovo AI solutions to customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and services teams on AI deals to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Promote AI use cases and capabilities at industry and partner events.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify new lead generation opportunities, GTM changes and solutions to address challenges.
  • Support the development of sales strategies with account managers, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Develop and nurture a pipeline for professional services, infrastructure, and software.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and communications on opportunities and progress.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in sales or technical pre-sales.
  • Knowledge of AI software ecosystems and how to coordinate them regionally.
  • Desire and ability to be an AI advocate for Lenovo with enterprise clients.
  • Technical understanding of server and storage technologies.
  • Understanding of AI and infrastructure solutions supporting AI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales or business development experience in complex deals.
  • Proven track record of deal negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of AI use cases and how to differentiate and promote them.
