How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:

Works independently and as a team member in a broad range of departmental activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to technology planning and acquisition, development and maintenance of project management and system development methodologies, special OAS projects, interface projects, special training assignments, other specific projects, departmental marketing, research and development, consulting resource to various departments and/or clients as assigned by the Director and management of special projects as assigned.

  • Lead and support system planning activities and overall design and system acquisition activities.
  • Promotes excellent client and department relationships.
  • Serves as a resource for the acquisition and dissemination of new healthcare practice knowledge and information science knowledge and trends. Participates in grant acquisitions.
  • Conducts timely and successful consulting engagements, such as system assessments, acquisitions, re-engineering and upgrades.
  • Provides direction for clients, staff, and vendors to resolve problems and difficulties within a given project.
  • Develops standards and methodologies for the department.
  • Conducts research and/or development for strategic projects.
  • Participates in meetings as assigned and other committees/task forces.
  • Provides leadership to other levels of consultants and assists in their education and development
  • Completes and maintains documentation of a minimum of twelve hours of pertinent continuing education each year.
What We Require:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive experience required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 5 or more years of experience in leadership, consulting, vendor system or with payersrequired.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communications skills, knowledge of business practices, positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to work with minimal direction, ability to lead, and adapt to change. Highly skilled in use of personal computers.
