Marketing Manager - Service & Support Mahwah, NJ

Job Summary

Responsible for management, development, launch, and promotion of a comprehensive portfolio of service offerings for the Mindray NA service business. Identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscape, and respond to changing market requirements to proactively sculpt portfolio to be reflective of current market environment and customer needs. Direct upstream accountability for assuring the development of all new and required services associated with new and next-generation product/system development & launch. Direct ownership for the construction and delivery of a multiyear service products roadmap that complements system/platform architecture, connectivity options, and remote services for hardware, and software device management. Establish pricing strategy for service products, remote services, and service support and customer agreements.

Position Specifications

Essential Functions:

  • Understand, document, and champion the services marketing requirements needs for all product lines within Mindray's North America's portfolio, focusing maximizing revenue while maintaining a competitive value proposition
  • Analyze customer needs to identify opportunities for developing new service offerings
  • Assess current service offerings against competitors to identify gaps and validate competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with the MarCom team to lead the development and execution of downstream marketing initiatives for service offerings including, key messaging, collateral creation, and tools to support service promotions.
  • Partner with R&D to influence product design, enabling the pull-through of service offerings, automating of service delivery, and assuring usable/stable/complete service toolsets.
  • Support business, marketing, and new product launch "Go-to-Market" plans. Providing cross-functional service and support leadership in the execution and rollout of these plans. Ensure that new product introductions include the appropriate training, positioning, pricing, sales, and promotional materials for all accompanying services.
  • Assess current product line performance (revenue/margin) against the plan. Implement programs, tools, and initiatives as per strategy to exceed business goals.
  • Provide proactive support to the sales teams with timely communications, service products and competitive information, product training, etc. Active support of the sales teams is critical to achieving the required performance in the role.
  • Establish (and update/maintain as needed) a service price list (including annual price increases) and partner with the Business Application Manager to ensure Salesforce CPQ accurately reflects intended pricing-associated logic and structure
  • Pursue, develop, and support internal and external business partnerships and marketing agreements. Work with sales management in the completion of RFPs supporting service elements.
  • Develop, maintain, and assure organizational compliance for completion and documentation of all customer-facing agreements relative to shared networks and wireless infrastructure requirements

Knowledge/ Educational Requirement/ Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related technical, or business area
  • MBA or equivalent experience is desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience in the medical device industry.
  • Marketing experience in upstream or downstream roles is desirable
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and execute plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to defined objectives
  • Ability to lead cross-organizationally without direct reports
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must

Work Environment

  • Office based in Mahwah, New Jersey
  • Travel requirements, including international travel, can reach 20% of time
