The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Manager of Science Communications is responsible for overseeing the US Science Support Program (USSSP) and Scientific Ocean Drilling Coordination Office (SODCO) to science communication initiatives. This role focuses on increasing awareness of scientific ocean drilling and geoscience, managing digital communications, -leading outreach and education efforts for expeditions, and inspiring STEM students to pursue careers in Earth sciences.
The Manager works closely with USSSP and SODCO personnel. This is a full-time, in-person position based on the LDEO campus. Responsibilities
