Maintenance Technician III - 2nd Shift - Jacksonville, FL

Performs maintenance related tasks for the upkeep of the entire facility. Ensures continued production operations by completing regular, preventive maintenance. Must have demonstrated advanced mechanical skills, advanced electrical skills, including controls and PLCs. Must have a strong commitment to OSHA safety standards and follows company safety policies, procedures and protocols while carrying out facility maintenance work.

Career Description:

• Must have extensive mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
• Must have extensive electrical knowledge.
• Must have good controls troubleshooting.
• Able to program various brands of drives, or the knowledge to learn various brands and types.
• Able to troubleshoot PLC`s; able to hook up to PLC`s and have a good knowledge of ladder logics. Able to upload and download programs, and make changes to those programs.
• Must be able to read electrical prints.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic conduit and wiring skills.
• Performs lockout / tag out procedures, according to OSHA standards and company policies.
• Works as a cooperative member of the team while performing all duties and alone, as needed.
• Follows direction of leads, supervisors and managers.
• Able to follow good housekeeping practices.
• Able to learn and use Maintenance Management systems.
• Able to read blueprints.
