Canning Operations & Video Documentation Intern *On-site*

Project Details:

This role is responsible for capturing and analyzing video footage of the Canning process to support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, enhance efficiency, and ensure best practices are documented and implemented.

Record and document Canning process workflows for training and process improvement.

• Maintain an organized library of process videos and documentation for future reference.

• Ensure all recorded processes align with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret and analyze production processes, and a proactive approach to enhancing operational efficiency.

Education

• Attending a four-year college or university to attain a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies or a similar field; or already awarded a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies or a related discipline from a four-year college or university.

  Required Skills

  • Video Production & Editing: Proficiency in recording, editing, and managing video content for training and process improvement.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to capture precise footage that accurately reflects process workflows and improvement opportunities.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to analyze video footage to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and quality departments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing or food production environments, particularly in canning processes, is a plus.
  • Project Management: Ability to organize, maintain, and manage a video library while ensuring documentation aligns with training and process improvement goals.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar), Microsoft Office, and workflow management tools like Smartsheet or Trello.
  • Process Documentation: Ability to translate visual information into training materials and standard operating procedures.
