Overview
Summer Nurse Internship will run from May 19, 2025 through July 19, 2025. Eligible Nursing Students are those graduating in December 2025, May 2026, and August 2026. When applying, please attached a resume that includes extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and current licenses and/or certifications. Please attach a copy of your most recent unofficial transcripts. Intern provides an opportunity for nursing students to advance their knowledge and skills in providing patient care in the ambulatory setting. Interns are partnered with an RN who develops and supervises the Student Nurse Intern's experience while retaining full accountability and responsibility for the care of assigned patients and tasks. Performs basic nursing task appropriate for the age and/or development of the patients served. In addition to performing normal duties of a Medical Office Assistant, must demonstrate competency in nursing knowledge/skills generally learned/acquired before beginning the last year of a nursing program; job duties will expand as skills are learned and competencies are documented by RN partner. Qualifications Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA), Education: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required) Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
