Overview

RN Coordinator-Psychiatry maintains accountability for daily operations and delivery of patient care in the sub specialty clinics. The RN Coordinator facilitates systematic patient flow through all phases of the clinic, including: referral, consultation, pending admission, treatment, and discharge. This position will work closely with the department leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive and cohesive model that optimizes coordination of care to expand our ability to serve those with treatment-resistant diagnoses in our community.
The RN Coordinator assists the Supervisor in building upon training/education focused on standardizing best practice across the nursing section.
Serves as a professional leader, role model, and resource to department staff and performs personnel actions, staff development and training, evaluation and counseling/coaching. This leader will also function as a nurse within the department.
Qualifications

Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA), Education: Bachelor's Degree, Work Experience:
Responsibilities

Monitoring and oversight of daily nursing workflow. This will include performing staff nurse duties as needed to ensure adequate staffing and delivery of safe patient care.
Assists leadership with development and implementation of departmental and organizational policies/ procedures and initiatives.
Monitoring and oversight of ordering of department supplies, equipment, and medication for specialty sub clinic.
Ensures efficient patient flow and throughput.
Provides orientation and training to staff in area of expertise, monitors and evaluates staff performance and assists the manager with reviewing process efficiency and efficacy.
Serves as a role model by conducting self in a responsible, professional manner.
Participation in and review of nursing specific policies within specialty clinics Collaborates with Leadership Team to ensure best outcomes Support nursing Model of Care by working closely with nursing managers and staff to achieve Patient Family Centered Care goals respect and dignity, information sharing, participation and collaboration

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $32.51per hour - $55.92per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
