Overview MRI Technologist - Weekend Location: Javon Bea Hospital Pay Range: $39.58 - $59.37 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shifts: 2 twelve hour shifts Hours per week: 24 Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour) We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan with a competitive matching contribution and paid time off. Prepares patient for procedures Maintains knowledge of current MRI safety practices and utilizes such as part of daily practice. Assumes responsibility for persons entering Zones I-IV. Provides patient instruction to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Applies principles and policies of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others. Reviews patients' clinical history ensuring that appropriate scan is ordered and labs are within range- reviewing with radiologist and/or provider as necessary. Selects and operates the magnetic resonance system, surface coils, physiologic gating devices, and associated equipment to achieve desired results. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited radiography program ARRT (MR) if completed the MRI Primary pathway required upon hire OR ARRT, (R) with requirement to obtain the MR Credential within 2 years of hire ARMRIT Credential required upon hire if credentialed through ARMRIT Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
