This position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.
Essential Functions
- Perform office administrator duties such as greeting visitors, answering and routing telephone calls, responding to emails, managing schedules, and communicating with clients, executives, and staff.
- Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; ordering more supplies as needed.
- Perform property custodian duties which includes maintaining property records and conducting annual audits.
- Function as Vehicle Control Officer (VCO) for assigned government vehicles.
- Serve as the primary Facility custodian inspector for work area. Ensures fire extinguishers and AED are inspected monthly. Completes annual and bi-annual facility inspections and submits needed work orders for repair.
- Run errands as needed driving a van or golf cart.
- Assist with timecards as direct by payroll and managers for employees who are off island.
- Operate office equipment, such as copiers or phone systems and arrange repairs when equipment malfunctions.
- Act as the Key Control Officer (KCO) for the department.
- Perfom day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintainining information files, processing paperwork, generating memos, reports and preparing meeting minutes or presentations.
- Appointed as the RGNext Primary Unit Postal Officer; responsible for company mailbox, picking-up company mail and distribution.
- Schedule meetings as required and maintain the conference room reservations calendar.
- Assist Management in making travel arrangements and/or accommodations to the outer islands as necessary.
- Assist team members with Expense Authorization/Expense Reports for mission or TDY.
- Assist Occupational Health with lodging and check request upon completion of medical appointments.
- Plans/coordinates employee parties/functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills

- Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn database application (e.g., MAXIMO, CostPoint).
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Zero (0) or more years experience in office administration.
- Previous Administrative experience desired.
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint skills.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
- This position is unaccompanied.
- Capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to obtain and maintain USAG-KA driver's license.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific projects or mission requirements.
