Advantage Technical is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemistry Associate to join our quality control team in the pharmaceutical industry. Keep reading to learn more about this exceptional opportunity in Bethlehem, PA.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably with exposure to UPLC, ICP-OES, Sysmex CS-2500, and automated pH meters.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations and USP standards is highly desirable.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.

The ideal candidate will excel in sample preparation, documentation, and operation of advanced analytical instruments, including UPLC, ICP-OES, Sysmex CS-2500, and automated pH meters. This position demands a strong foundation in chemistry, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for analysis following established protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of experiments, analyses, and results, including:

    • Data Entry: Input data accurately into laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other databases.
    • Report Generation: Compile comprehensive reports summarizing experimental procedures, findings, and conclusions.
    • Record Keeping: Ensure laboratory notebooks, logs, and electronic records are current and compliant with regulatory standards.


  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Adhere to and contribute to the development and revision of SOPs for consistency in laboratory practices.
  • Analytical Instrumentation Operation:

    • UPLC Operation: Operate and maintain Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography systems for chemical compound analysis.
    • ICP-OES Operation: Conduct Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy for elemental analysis.
    • Sysmex CS-2500 Operation: Utilize the Sysmex CS-2500 system for various analyses.
    • Automated pH Measurement: Perform pH measurements using automated pH meters while ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.


  • Quality Control: Ensure all analyses meet quality control standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members across departments to ensure an efficient workflow and accurate results.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor.



Pay | $25 - $27 per hour
