Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Kennesaw, GA and Addison, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset Work independently to develop complex .NET software components using C# Convert large amounts of Java/C++/PLSQL code to C# WebAPI2 REST services Consult with team architects and development leads regarding code architecture and design Write SOLID testable code Develop unit and integration tests for automated code coverage of components developed. Run explain plans to ensure query optimization Perform manual unit testing when automation is not available Analyze legacy code in VB6 and C++ for conversion to .NET Document and conducts code reviews of all code changes prior to user acceptance testing Participate in and contributes to Agile ceremonies Design, develop and maintain dynamic web applications Requirements: Senior .NET developer with strong .NET8 framework and PL/SQL Oracle background Commitment to strong design principles, automated unit/integration testing, and highly productive in a fast paced environment Ability to work on complex large scale PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle Mastery of WebApi/.Net microservices 8+ years .NET development experience 3+ years Agile experience (Scaled Agile certification preferred) C#, PL/SQL Oracle Stored Procedures, (VB6 OR C++ experience ), WebAPI 2.0 REST Services, Entity Framework, LINQ, Splunk Proficiency in JIRA Ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities Relevant IT experience (SDLC- Waterfall / Agile) preferably within a financial domain Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Experience working with virtual teams Proficiency in Angular and .Net frameworks and related technologies Strong command of Angular, C#, Entity framework and Oracle Experience in API development, microservices architecture and cloud platforms Solid understanding of design patterns, code optimization and performance tuning Effective use of version control systems (GIT) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns Desired skills: WPF, WinForms, IOC Containers, MOQ Frameworks, Test Driven Development, IBM MQ Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
