Implement and support HR Department initiatives including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies and practices, training, and full employee life cycle processes. Acts as a primary point of contact and provides counsel and consulting services to internal partners across the organization as well provides support to employees. Drive employee engagement efforts and ensure alignment to nVent culture. Support local recruiting for front-line positions that delivers full compliance, strong diversity and effective selection Facilitates New Employee Orientation program for new hires. Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients. Actively participates in annual budget planning/labor forecasting process with business partners Promote and foster the nVent Continuous Excellence culture through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a catalyst for change management Lead HR project work
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business or related field preferred 3+ years previous experience in or with human resources, administrative, and/or project coordinator role. Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
