Marine Bank & Trust in Carthage is seeking a full-time Investment Assistant to support the Director of Wealth Management and provide clerical assistance to the Trust Department. (Marine Bank & Trust is a United Community Bank). This position will have a Monday thru Friday schedule with occasional Saturday hours.

While a post-secondary education and prior experience in banking or a similar financial field is a plus, it's not required. We'll provide on-the-job training to help you succeed in your specific duties.

Attendance Requirements: Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to start work. Employees are expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours should be avoided.

Working Conditions: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to stand for up to eight hours
• Requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary
• Requires the ability to hear, speak and/or signal people
• Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in English
• Requires manual dexterity, typing, and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets
• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Pay Range: 16.00 - 18.00

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including applicable experience, training and education.
