Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The salary range listed is for base compensation only and may be adjusted depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range does not include variable compensation and is subject to the individual department compensation plan. Application Window Open date: March 17, 2025 Most recent review date: Tuesday, Apr 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Jul 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis seeks an innovative and highly motivated experienced master's-degree or doctorally (preferred) prepared nurse practitioner to join the faculty as a supervisor for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellows and faculty in clinical practice under the direction of the Associate Dean for Practice. The NP supervisor will serve in a unique role focused on two main areas; first is working closely with the Project Director of the APP Fellowship program to help oversee the education and training of the cohort and second is providing supervision to APP fellows and clinical faculty new to practice in the nurse led mobile clinic and partnering community clinics. In this role, the NP Supervisor will provide oversight of CFPs who provide direct clinical care to patients, precept students, and participate in clinical teaching activities in grant funded activities. This search is open to Family Nurse Practitioners. This is a full-time, non-tenured position at the assistant or associate rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series or the Clinical X Series at UC Davis Health, which is located on a modern, 140-acre campus in Sacramento, California. The Sacramento campus is home to the School of Nursing, School of Medicine, UC Davis Medical Center (including a level-I trauma center and burn unit and a full range of outpatient services), a fully accredited children's hospital, and an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Practice locations include UC Davis Health Medical Center, UC Davis department and primary care network clinics, Sacramento County clinics, northern California FQHCs, and other clinical sites.
