About The Role
First Bank of Montana is hiring a Loan Processor II to be an integral part of our team! The position can work from any of our ten branch locations in Lewistown, Chinook, Choteau, Fairfield, Vaughn, Fort Benton, Chester, Big Sandy, Conrad, or Plentywood, Montana. This position involves providing loan support for multiple branches in our bank division and requires a positive attitude and great customer service skills. The ability to work in a team atmosphere and promote the bank's products and services is required. The successful candidate will have extensive contact with bank staff in multiple locations as well as contact with external customers. Professionalism, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability are a must! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Loan Processor II is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of various loan documents, including real estate, consumer, agricultural, and commercial loans. This individual will work closely with the loan team to ensure that all loan files are complete, comply with regulatory and internal standards, and are ready for closing. The position requires exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of loan documentation processes. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Dodd-Frank Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes. Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
