- UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, wound healing center, swing bed care, 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning, coordination and goal setting in collaboration with Hospital Administration, Medical Providers, and Department Leaders throughout the facility.
- Monitor, report, and manage Radiology employee productivity.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and motivate Radiology employees - maximizing performance and employee satisfaction.
- Monitor, report, and improve radiology quality, performance, safety, and associated technical and service indicators.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of plans to start new services, and grow existing service volumes.
- Develop, communicate, monitor, and enforce policies, procedures, protocols, pathways, schedules, and other work processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accrediting standards.
- Track maintenance of equipment, plan for future equipment needs, and submit Capital Expense Requests.
- Utilize effective marketing strategies to attract more customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program in medical radiography, radiologic sciences, or medical sonography required.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
- 5 years experience in Radiology.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred; Masters Degree in Healthcare / Business Administration.
- Two years in a supervisory role.
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) credential through the AHRA.
- Experience with Cardiac Imaging is a plus.
