This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Essential Job Functions:

As a supervisor, you will lead by example in assisting guests with room calls and troubleshoot concerns brought to your attention.

• Maintain a Preventive Maintenance program for guest rooms, kitchen equipment, other operational equipment, and other areas as assigned.
• Support the overall needs of the department, to include giving guidance to the engineering team.
• Create a team environment in the Engineering Department and with all other departments: Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Accounting, and others.
• Work safe utilization of proper PPE and comply with all safety regulations set forth by the city, state, and OSHA.
• Perform general repair and maintenance of equipment found in and around the hotel.

Pay Range: $28 - $30 Hourly

Physical Demands:

• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50lbs or more
• Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a hotel or customer service capacity

Experience:

• Mathematical knowledge of building and construction
• Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
• Preferred Experience working on HVAC, plumbing, construction and machinery
• Full-Time position with the flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays
