City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Multiple shifts available Overview: Sentara Cardiology Specialists Kempsville is now seeking a Full-Time Echocardiographer. Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift Position Location: Virginia Beach, VA Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday - Friday A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for all eligible candidates Overview An Echocardiographer, also known as a cardiac sonographer, specializes in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart. These professionals work closely with cardiologists to evaluate heart structures, functions, and blood flow, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application. Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines. Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) within in 12 months of hire. ACLS not required for hire but must acquire within 90 days. BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Education Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines Certification/Licensure Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) Experience Related experience preferred We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$32.13 - $53.55Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
