Description
The Staff Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for responsible for building and optimizing interactive Tableau dashboards to track marketing KPIs, campaign performance, customer segmentation, and business trends. This position is also responsible for presenting results to leadership, recommending strategies, and proactively identifying opportunities for the Marketing organization.

Job Duties
  • Identify and interpret marketing performance metrics to inform on successes, efficiencies, and opportunities and communicate actions to enhance performance
  • Work with marketing leadership to inform marketing strategies and drive performance through the marketing organization
  • Develop ad hoc reports, custom reports and dashboards to provide deeper marketing insights as well as quantify marketing initiatives across all lines of business
  • Build and automate the collection, storage, automation and organization of data for all marketing functions to measure performance, segmentation criteria, market research, logistics, member and prospective member behavioral and transactional data, as well as other marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Discover, interpret and evaluate complex insights on irregularities, trends, and overall performance
  • Use a multitude of systems and programs while partnering cross-functionally across the organization to identify opportunities, strengths and effectiveness of marketing strategy and execute action plans for future advancements
  • Articulate performance analyses, observations and insights to various audiences including marketing colleagues, business leaders, and executives while providing recommendations
  • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, UX/UI design, and automated data refresh schedules
  • Train marketing teams on Tableau reporting best practices and self-service analytics capabilities
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 7 years' experience and expertise in database concepts, analytics, research, and channel development/execution
  • Deep expertise in Marketing methodologies and techniques including experience in high performance marketing and marketing analytics teams with demonstrated impacts to the business
  • Experience with data blending across multiple sources (Snowflake, GA, ad platforms, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills presenting to multiple stakeholders at multiple levels with different levels of data, demonstrated track record of business impacts using analytics
  • Innovative and collaborative problem-solving skills within a complex business/technology organization
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to foster strong internal and external business relationships
  • Advanced storytelling experience, including regular experience presenting to leadership teams with evidence of affecting significant business change and impact
  • Ability to develop, manage and execute extended analytics roadmaps with consistent communications across stakeholders
  • Ability to present and influence leadership through weekly reporting insights
  • Expert proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including advanced calculations, parameters, LOD expressions and storytelling, and architecting reports and dashboards against complex data sets
  • Expert proficiency with SQL with advanced SQL fluency
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing (or other related field of study) or relevant equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $115k - $128k annually + annual bonus
