We partner across TransUnion to develop and set our solution strategy and prioritization, while ensuring our solutions deliver clear value that meet and exceed our customer's needs. You will manage multiple projects and products, collaborate with cross functional teams, understand overall priorities, and set expectations through clear and frequent communication (verbal and written). Additionally, you will compile, analyze, synthesize, and summarize qualitative and quantitative information from internal and external sources to address specific business needs and problems.

*You will define the TransUnion driving solution product roadmap, including evaluating impact of product enhancements and prioritizing changes to products. This includes all driving related products on multiple platforms.
*You will manage overall product health including the product backlog, working with technology and operations teams, balancing beyond MVP plans with new customer needs, measuring success of the Go-to-market (GTM) strategy through established KPIs.
*You will increase collateral for all driving related solutions, including collaborating with market development on go-to-market materials for new products and enhancements.
*You will be the subject matter expert for sales opportunities for all driving solutions in the employment market, including articulating the product value proposition and functionality, coordinating product validations/customer testing, and supporting implementations, while creating and maintaining product documentation.
*You will lead obtaining approval for product changes with legal and compliance, following the approved product review process for new products and enhancements. You will optimize profitability of the driving related solutions by working with sales and our customers optimize their use of the product suite.

What You'll Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, IT, marketing or management, 5+ years' experience in product management with an emphasis on knowledge of the employment screening industry or auto insurance.
  • Strong collaboration with a problem-solving, design-thinking, customer-centric mindset and demonstrated product development and management skills in evaluating situations and identifying multiple solutions.
  • Understanding of industry regulatory environment including FCRA and GLBA, along with a demonstrated expertise in working with compliance and legal teams on gaining product approval.
  • Leverages internal and external data to understand the market and client-level performance; stays current on the competitive landscape, works with the product marketing group to capture and document competitor's capabilities and plans.
  • Develops and presents product specific roadmaps with plans for effectively growing and managing the business.

Impact You'll Make:

  • You will gain/increase expertise in DLC (Driver's License Compact), NRVC (Non-Resident Violator Compact), FMCSA regulation (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).
  • You will become subject matter expert in the following DMV based solutions: Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs), Driver Monitoring, Commercial Driver's License Information System (CDLIS), Vehicle Report (VR), and driver's license status, helping to evaluate expanding distribution of these products through other TransUnion divisions, including the insurance and gig economy markets.
  • You will be the owner of knowledge about how products can be used per source contracts with each state and collaborate with data acquisition and management to expand permitted uses.
  • You will conduct market research and maintain competitive intel on TransUnion's key competitors for all markets and driving related products.This includes understanding changes to DMV hosted products and evaluating if there are additional DMV based products that should be added to the Datalink offering.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve products and evaluate market demand for those enhancements.
  • Thought leadership around products and services and the opportunities the platform provides.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $120,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
