  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5:00pm
  • Hybrid Position
  • Some travel to other corporate sites will be required (Warrenville - Skokie - Arlington Heights)

Job Summary:
As the Director, IT Business Operations at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing the solutions and processes specific to areas of IT Finance, Service Delivery standard, Controls including life cycle management, from strategic planning, deployment, and processes of the solutions and platforms. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, contributing to growth of the organization, promotion of patient and user experience and creating innovative solutions with operations, fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions to the goals of the system, promoting the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, budgeting, and management/administrative tasks assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.

What you will do:

  • Portfolio and Team Leadership: Drives end-to-end activities for the Service Delivery, IT Finance, EPMO and Controls portfolios. Developing and leading teams for high performance outcomes.
  • Solution Implementation Oversight: Provides direction for solution implementation including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimizing, and support.
  • Business Relationship and Requirement Management: Establishes relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user requirements; identifies business requirements to guide specifications for ease of business operations.
  • Governance, Cross-functional Collaboration, and Synergy Management: Lead or participates in governance committees and to collaborates with key stakeholders, leaders, and cross-functional teams to prioritize workload, identify synergies, and ensure seamless effective and efficient execution of touchpoints and deliverables. about priority and workload.
  • Vendor Relationship and Solution Oversight: Collaborates with vendors to ensure systems and solutions are achieving or exceeding the needs of Endeavor Health.
  • Team Management and Leadership Oversight: Mentors' direct reports through oversight of activities such as: Capital and Operating budgets, policy and procedure development and maintenance, talent management and acquisition, sustaining relationships with operational stakeholders, governance activities, and other duties as assigned.
  • Technology Trends and Innovation Strategy: Remains updated on latest technologies available in the market and promotes the implementation of relevant technologies. Participates in industry related organizations, such as HIMSS, CHIME, ITSM, as appropriate.
  • Service Delivery, ITSM, and Financial Oversight: Coordinates and Manages: Service Delivery and adherence to ITSM foundation, Financial Management of the IT department (operating and capital), IT Audit and Compliance, and Executive Communication.
  • Standards and Compliance Management: Establishes department standards for: policies and procedures, service standards and KPI's, IT financial management, and audit and compliance.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent work experience. (Master's Degree preferred)
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundations
  • Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years ofexperience in managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency.
  • Significant domain knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, plan and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strong personal and ethical accountability
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution.
  • A lean towards curiosity, out of the box thinking and innovative.
