College Intern - Accounting

RK&K is hiring an Accounting Intern to support our Accounting Team in Baltimore, MD. This position will run from May through August in a full-time capacity and is open to candidates who are also available for earlier part-time spring employment.

As an Intern in our Accounting department, you will receive on-the-job training, work alongside, and collaborate closely with the Accounting team. In this role, you will gain insight into various aspects of the accounting and billing processes. You will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technologies related to life cycle and billing of a project.

This role is in the office 5 days per week (flexible)

Basic Functions:

• Support Billing Manager with various administrative duties
• Support Billing Team as needed with various billing functions
• Working with the Accounting team, if needed, on various accounting fuctions

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
