Why do we need you ?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Analyst with a well-rounded background in purchasing, production planning, logistics, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze current practices and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and utilization of digital tools. This role involves managing the collection of metric data to evaluate overall plant performance and leading supply chain improvement projects. A strong focus on customer needs and expectations, along with a commitment to continuous improvement, is essential.

Essential Functions



  • Inventory Strategy Development: Develop strategies related to raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventories within turn objectives and dollar levels. Manage BOM, routing, and other system-related data to ensure the facility contributes towards global performance metrics.
  • ERP System Expertise: Serve as the QAD Superuser, assisting colleagues in developing and improving their system expertise. Implement best ERP system practices at other sites to ensure consistency and help sites understand and utilize QAD modules/functionality effectively.
  • Production Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with the Master Scheduler and other Buyer/Planners to optimize production capacity utilization. Ensure consistent communication and planning across all production levels, including production, maintenance, and management.
  • Process Improvement Leadership: Lead process improvement projects such as kaizens and WCM initiatives using lean techniques to optimize and enhance value throughout the supply chain. Mobilize and direct people inside and outside the value stream, including suppliers, to implement necessary changes. Demonstrate effective use of value stream mapping techniques.
  • Inventory Management Oversight: Oversee inventory procedures, including cycle count execution. Research and analyze performance trends and their implications on future operations, including inventory levels and replenishment strategies. Develop and implement a robust inventory control system.

Requirements:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in supply chain functions, including purchasing, planning, and inventory management.
  • Skills:


    • Proven ability to analyze and improve current practices to enhance efficiency and utilization of digital tools.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing supply chain improvement projects.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, particularly QAD, and the ability to train and support colleagues in its use.
    • Commitment to continuous improvement and customer
