Key Responsibilities

Write Efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code: Develop both new and existing applications, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Follow best practices: Adhere to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Develop user interfaces (if applicable): Depending on the scope, develop front-end interfaces or integrate with front-end frameworks.

API Development: Create RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot.

Debugging and troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bugs or issues in the application. Analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and fix problems in the production environment.

Performance tuning: Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and efficiency.

Code refactoring: Continuously improve and refactor existing code to make it more readable, maintainable, and scalable

Qualifications:

Hands on Experience in Java, Spring Boot.

Expertise in writing Webservice using RESTful and SOA.

Expertise in Java, Collection Framework, Java Streams, Concurrency and Multithreading and Exception handling.

Hands on experience with Java Entity Framework like Hibernate, JPA and etc.

Microservices Architecture: Design and implementation of microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other relevant tools.

SQL and NoSQL: Strong experience with relational databases.

Good to have, Event-Driven Architectures: Familiarity with message queues and UI technologies like AngularJS and etc.

Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $114, 00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
