We are searching for a talented Patient Care Representative - Occupational Health

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:30am - 4:00pm/ 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA; This position will be required to provide coverage at both clinical locations on a weekly basis. (Fall River/New Bedford)

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Manager, OH Operations, perform a variety of office support, coordination of various patient care processes and other related duties in accordance with established Occupational Health department policies and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training, secretarial school, diploma, or medical office certification.
  • Duties require knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficient data entry skills are also essential.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to use both departmental and/or hospital computer systems is required.
  • Customer service skills are required.
  • Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
