Quality Control Manager

Cape Fox, subsidiary Mountain Point is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team. The Quality Control Managerensures processes and procedures meet quality standards by developing and implementing quality control plans, monitoring processes, and addressing issues to maintain high quality and compliance.This team member will also assist with U.S. Army policy requirements to maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO). Other duties may be assigned as needed in the future by management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the operations and maintenance teams.
• Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality results.
• Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
• Setting the requirements for materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
• Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
• Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
• Overseeing production procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
• Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final processes.
• Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
• Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
• Playing an active role in helping the organization set up and execute preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, or any other preferred maintenance program
