The Finance team plays a critical role in shaping strategic decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, and pricing optimization. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to support our efforts in analyzing and reducing churn, with a focus on tracking user movement and enhancing reporting capabilities. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analytics, data integrity, and business collaboration.

As part of the Finance team, the intern will work on key initiatives involving data modeling, reporting, and leveraging relevant technologies. Throughout the Refinement, Implementation, and Delivery stages of projects, they will develop technical skills and gain valuable exposure to cross-functional business operations.

Additionally, the intern will collaborate with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts to gather insights, understand business needs, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in churn analysis by tracking user movement within eMoney and identifying cancellation patterns.
  • Conduct data-driven deep dives to uncover key churn drivers and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with teams across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to gather insights on customer behavior and retention strategies.
  • Support the development of presentations and dashboards for leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners to enhance financial and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficient in creating and refining standard reports to assess data quality and identify solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and actionable manner for business stakeholders.
  • Curious and innovative mindset, eager to explore new analytical techniques and problem-solving approaches.
The hourly rate for this position is $15.00-$19.00; commensurate rate to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise.
