Job Responsibilities:


  • Perform all necessary maintenance and repairs in CNC machining department including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC and pneumatic repairs on all equipment (Haas and Mazak machining centers).
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical apparatus such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment (phase 3 motors and 480V).
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
  • Work with precision equipment to test and diagnose problems with electrical/electronic equipment and machinery in the plant.
  • Plan, direct, and record periodic electrical testing, and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.



Required Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment as a maintenance electrician or electronic technician.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic equipment using a wide variety of diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge and theory of Phase 3 motors and 480V; programmable logic controllers and digital/analog electronics is necessary to work on a wide variety of production and material handling equipment.
  • Journeyman's card or equivalent education and 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment - CNC environment is preferred.
