Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking an Engineer I to add to our team for our Plainville, CT office.

Responsibilities:

  • Under close supervision, performs a variety of engineering and/or technical tasks, including input of data into pre-written computer programs.
  • Operates a computer and runs reports on calculations.
  • Designs portions of a project under supervision.
  • Researches catalogs for commercially available equipment to avoid expense of original design.
  • Specifies equipment based on catalog searches.
  • Researches code requirements in out-of-town project sites.
  • Prepares environmental impact and other administrative reports required for project permits.
  • May prepare the drawings of designs he or she has originated (typically will not draft the designs of others).
  • Performs other work as apparent or assigned.
  • Works safely and abides by the firm’s policies and procedures.
