Job Description

The Visiting Research Associate's position's primary focus is to participate in the coordination, development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of responsibilities for currently funded and assigned projects.

This position will lead research efforts as part of existing projects and coordinate with project staff and other investigators to develop new grant proposals for future funding opportunities. There are opportunities for active advising and mentorship of doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars.

Qualifications

* Doctorate in special education, school psychology, or related field.
* Expertise in intervention for diverse learners, including students with or at risk for disabilities
* Documented expertise in research and scholarship (e.g., data collection, research design, data analysis, scholarly publications).
* Documented experience in mentoring student research.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project coordination skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on completion of project objectives.
* Ability to work effectively and collaborate with colleagues within and across departments.
* Ability to manage/lead multiple ongoing projects.
* Experience in providing training/professional development for educators.
* Experience with internal or external grant management
* Experience using technology to support

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary commensurate with experience
