Position Description

ENSCO Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company that provides engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.

In support of our programs, ENSCO is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee and actively contribute to the technology infrastructure of our organization. This role involves working closely with a small team, directly managing and troubleshooting IT systems, networks, and applications. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure seamless IT operations.

Duties include:
* Support and manage DoD classified and unclassified systems within a contractor environment, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements.
* Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate closely with ENSCO's corporate IST Team
* Manage and maintain the ENSCO's Colorado Springs IT infrastructure, including network systems, software applications, and hardware.
* Work closely with a small team to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly.
* Implement and support IT policies, security protocols, and best practices to ensure data integrity and protection.
* Lead by example, participating in hands-on technical work, including system administration, software deployment, and network configuration.
* Oversee IT support services, ensuring efficient responses to user requests and system issues.
* Evaluate and recommend cost-effective technology solutions to enhance business efficiency.
* Oversee & supervise Sys Admin efforts
* Coordinate system upgrades, software updates, and cloud migrations.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and IT security standards.
* Provide training and mentorship to IT team members while maintaining a collaborative environment.
* Collaborate with COS Site Manager, Program Managers, Sys Admin, Security Team, and Office Management

Qualifications Required (Skills)
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management with a hands-on technical background.
* Knowledge of DoD classified and unclassified systems in a contractor environment, including adherence to NIST, RMF, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
* Expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and system administration.
* Experience working in a small team environment and balancing multiple IT responsibilities.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
* Expertise in setting up/ troubleshooting conference video & IT equipment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and lead a small IT / Sys Admin team
* MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S CITIZEN.

Qualifications Desired
* Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft/AWS
* Knowledge of TEMPEST and ICD 705 requirements
