Position Title: COMMUNICATICATIONS COORDINATOR

Pay Grade: 10

Reports To: VP, Communications

Salary: $50000-$60000 / year

Job Summary

As Communications Coordinator, you'll be a key member of a high-performing, collaborative team that supports internal and external communications across Eurest and ESFM. This early career position is ideal for a creative, curious, and detail-oriented communicator eager to learn, grow, and contribute in meaningful ways. From supporting the team in shaping comprehensive communications plans to playing an integral role in content creation and storytelling, you'll help the team execute comprehensive communication strategies to impact performance and results and bring our voice to life - one message at a time.

You'll work closely with our Culinary, Marketing, Guest Experience, Human Resources and Finance teams to support key initiatives that elevate our brand, engage our people, and inspire our clients. What You'll Do

  • Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters, intranet posts, and company collateral
  • Monitor internal communication channels and help track engagement metrics
  • Manage distribution lists and audience research and insights
  • Coordinate logistics for campaigns, events, and projects.
  • Maintain content calendars, campaign trackers, notes and organized files to support a strong archive and digital asset management system, ensure deadlines are met and messaging is consistent.
  • Support the development of communication materials such as presentations, flyers, signage, and videos
  • Compile monthly or quarterly metrics to share insights and inform strategy
  • Collaborate across departments to support strong storytelling and team member recognition, driving key initiatives that contribute to a strong company culture
  • Stay up to date on company initiatives, industry trends, and best practices in corporate communications
  • Use tools like Canva or PowerPoint to format content or simple graphics
  • Provide general administrative support to the communications team as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships and freelance considered as experience)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organization and project management skills, follow-up and reporting skills; experience with project management tools like Monday.com are a bonus
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • An eye for design and familiarity with tools like Canva or similar platforms
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
  • Familiarity with Communications AI and Automation tools
  • Interest in corporate storytelling, brand voice, and employee engagement
  • A growth mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves and try new things
