Join Our Team as a Site Compliance Analyst at Gallo!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to analyze and oversee E & J Gallo's regulatory programs and activities related to alcohol beverage production and operations. In this role, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and international laws, industry codes, and company policies.

As a Site Compliance Analyst, you will support winemaking and spirits-making operational compliance functions governed by government regulations. Your responsibilities will include reconciling bulk and finished goods inventories, preparing and submitting monthly reports to regulatory agencies, and maintaining licenses, permits, plant registrations, and bonds. You will also ensure compliance-related data is accurately entered into databases as mandated by federal regulations.

You will collaborate with management to resolve non-compliance situations and work cross-functionally to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and business partners. Your role will involve participating in government interactions and compliance activities during inspections or regulatory actions, and you will research, analyze, and interpret federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.

Your commitment to understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations is essential. You will participate in professional training related to federal, state, and international alcohol

beverage and tax laws, and assist with special projects as needed. Maintaining satisfactory attendance and timeliness is a key aspect of this role.

What You Will Need:

* Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
* Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at a basic level.
* Experience in document research and review, document filing with local authorities.
* Ability to self-start, prioritize and meet strict deadlines while maintaining good judgement and professional relationships.

* Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
* Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Accounting, Biology, or Chemistry plus 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
* Experience in:

* Reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.

* Effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
* Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
* Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
* Applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
* Working on multiple projects at one time and organizing them appropriately.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted:$27.31 - $40.96 / hour
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
