The Commercial Strategy Manager plays a key role in supporting and collaborating with the Commercial Analytics and Key Account team to identify business needs, develop solutions, standardize processes, and oversee internal project completion in effort to drive the company's overall commercial strategy.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Analyst, Key Account, and Area Teams on contract implementation, rollout, and training.
  • Assist Key Account team with driving account strategies and plans.
  • Measure and report key account metrics aimed at gauging growth at the account level.
  • Actively manage the RFP process for new and existing accounts.
  • Periodic Review and Maintenance of CPQ Pricing Instructions
  • Oversee and manage the routine maintenance and updating of market baskets.
  • Develop presentations for Director of Commercial Strategy and Key Account teams on ad hoc basis.
  • Review KPI reports and QBR presentations prepared by Commercial Analyst prior to submission
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of contract pricing system data.
  • Collaboration with Area ISR team on pricing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial Analyst and Key Account team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Jointly lead internal projects on process improvements in efficiency and reliability
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Sales to align business goals, pricing initiatives, and contractual obligations.
  • Work with Procurement on plans to standardize and support all key accounts
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to enhance efficiency and business performance (pricing, category margins, customer profitability, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain AML Database based on contracts to streamline MRO and CapEx strategies
  • Meet expected deadlines and deliverables to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining.
  • Assist Key Account Managers with accounts receivable (AR) reconciliation.

A must...

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in strategic planning and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
