The Inside Sales Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the inside sales operations to ensure the attainment of established sales objectives. This role involves managing a high-performing team, developing strategies to drive sales growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Develops and manages the inside sales department to achieve annual sales goals and performance targets.
  • Monitors the daily activities of the inside sales team, ensuring lead generation, sales conversion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drives standardization in quoting, order-entry and other key activities
  • Champions and provides feedback on new ways of working (e.g., CPQ)
  • Establishes and implements sales processes, programs, and systems to achieve company sales goals.
  • Prepares and monitors the sales department's budget, forecasts, and overall financial goals.
  • Analyzes market trends and competition to provide the team with relevant insights and drive competitive sales strategies.
  • Ensures inside sales associates are well-versed in company products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of industry-specific products and services to effectively guide and educate the sales team.
  • Provides ongoing guidance and feedback to the inside sales team to drive motivation, productivity, and performance.
  • Identifies areas for improvement within the inside sales department and implements corrective actions to achieve optimal results.

A must...

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, consultative selling, and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of product offerings and ability to articulate their value to customers.
  • Ability to manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
