People Team Business Partner

Summary

The People Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with people strategies. This highly collaborative position will provide strategic partnership and direct support across three primary areas: employee relations, business partnership for our corporate engineering team, and support for our expansion efforts. The PBP will act as a trusted advisor and connector-ensuring our people strategies drive meaningful results for the business while enhancing the employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the dedicated HR partner to the corporate engineering team, fostering alignment between business priorities and people solutions.
  • Build deep relationships with leaders and employees to understand their challenges and opportunities and co-create strategies that support growth, engagement, and performance.
  • Use data and insights to anticipate workforce needs, identify gaps, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, ensuring consistent, fair, and timely resolution aligned with company values and policies.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance-related issues.
  • Identify ER trends and recommend systemic improvements to enhance culture and engagement.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support HR and workforce planning aspects of business expansion efforts.
  • Develop scalable processes for onboarding, communication, and integration of new functions or facilities.
  • Ensure that the People Team is positioned as a strategic enabler during times of growth and transition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and business partnership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Ramp-up staffing situations is a huge plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to pivot and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience supporting technical teams or corporate functions preferred.
  • A data-informed mindset with the ability to use insights to drive action.

Compensation Range:$77,000.00-$115,000.00, plus bonus.
