Job Description

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and self-reviewing financial statements by coordinating the month-end close and reporting processes, along with conducting necessary analysis and accounting research. You will drive continuous improvement by evaluating accounting and reporting controls and implementing corrective action plans. Additionally, you will support projects aimed at enhancing accounting and reporting functions, collaborate with internal and external auditors to implement recommendations, and address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, including interfacing with management.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, assist with the monthly close activities, prepare schedules and other general accounting functions.

  • Manage or perform functions related to accounting and or reporting on a GAAP/SAP basis. Research and or analyze financial/operating data to identify and solution challenges impacting business unit(s), and act as a reference on these challenges for others in accounting.

  • Coordinate or perform accounting and reporting research as needed.

  • Initiate projects to improve processes/controls, partner with project teams to ensure resolution of project/post-project issues and participate on cross-functional projects as a finance representative.

  • May be responsible for setup and maintenance of accounting system, chart of account, or other reporting and accounting sub-systems

  • Responsible for preparation of GAAP/SAP monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal/external audiences.

  • Assist with audits by providing requested information to auditors and work with management to resolve issues and draft resolutions.

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and perform self-testing.

Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 3+ years of experience in related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

Salary Range

Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
