The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating major aspects of various research, training and service projects of the Evidence Based Health Promotion Lab, ABA Centers of America Autism Lab and other projects within the research, training and service programs led by Lisa A. Ferretti and Philip McCallion at the Temple University College of Public Health/School of Social Work. Position assumes responsibility for assigned program management and supports the end-to-end development of new projects.

Essential functions:
*Under the supervision of Ferretti and McCallion the Manager will be responsible to gather, generate, maintain and analyze program data using quantitative and qualitative methods and related software, assist with report development and support database development and maintenance. Will assist with IRB applications and reporting.
*Manager will work to identify funding sources, grants, etc. to support the work of the Evidence-Based Health Promotion and ABA Centers of America Autism Labs and to develop new research, service and training projects and support the development of new proposals including research, writing, editing and submitting proposals under the supervision of McCallion/Ferretti.
*Manager will support the development of manuscripts, posters, presentation and other dissemination materials under the direction of McCallion/Ferretti.
*Manager will support the development of research, training and service projects to support the ongoing development of the ABA Centers of America and Evidence-Based Health Promotion Labs and emerging projects.
*Manager will support assessments and the development of protocols within the ABA Centers of America Lab under the direction of the Ferretti/McCallion.
*Willingness and ability to work with vulnerable populations of older adults, people with disabilities and Autistic people.
*Willingness and ability to supervise social work students at the undergraduate and graduate level (must have an MSW and 2 years post Master's experience).
*Oversees and implements programs of the Evidence-Based Health Promotion Lab including partner site development, data collection and analysis, reporting to funders and ready to be trained as a trainer in EBIs to be developed.
*Manager will provide training and technical expertise on recruitment, retention and all programmatic and study protocols to project sites and individual staff and volunteers at participating agencies.
*The Manager will work within Temple University College of Public Health/School of Social Work general policies and guidelines as well as policies and guidelines related to delivery of EBIs. In managing fidelity monitoring for EBIs the coordinator will also interpret EBI policies and guidelines
*The Manager will identify and implement strategies to improve program efficiency and to ensure the accuracy of data.
*The Manager will initiate internal and external contacts within broad guidelines provided by Ferretti and McCallion, as needed, to exchange information to complete work.
*The Manager will identify problems; and within broad guidelines provided by Ferretti and McCallion generate appropriate solutions exercise independent judgment and resolve complex issues, impacting the operations and/or outcomes of the evidence-based health promotion and self-management intervention (Evidence Based Health Promotion Lab) research program.
*The Manager will provide information for project/operation budget development within area of expertise and as requested by Ferretti and McCallion may monitor portions of the budget.
*As staffing expands the Manager will participate in the selection of candidates, performance evaluation, training, and general HR issues. Will provide task supervision to BSW and MSW students as needed.

Required Education & Experience: Master's degree in Social Work and at least two years of directly related experience post-Master's required. Qualitative and quantitative data management required. Experience with research project development and management including data management and IRB proposal development required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required skills and abilities:
*Must have end-to-end research-based project development and management skills including demonstrated use of quantitative and qualitative software
*Must have the ability to deliver and monitor fidelity in Evidence Based Interventions named above and/or in development within the Evidence Based Health Promotion Lab and other research related projects.
*Demonstrated ability to train and present in large groups
*Demonstrated ability to problem solve
*Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle multiple tasks and work well as a part of a team
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Ability to travel to locations that may not be accessible via transportation
*Volunteer recruitment and management experience
*Willing to travel throughout the U.S. as needed
*Willing to work some evenings and weekends
*Demonstrated computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and qualitative or quantitative software.

This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
